Accessible Transport 4 U

Out ‘n About– a project supported by AT4U, run by registered charity Disabled Travel Service.

Out n’ About – a health & wellbeing support project for elderly disabled individuals.

A service based in Bristol being provided in South West England, South Gloucestershire, South Wales, Gloucestershire and West Wiltshire and any surrounding counties. Specific to helping elderly persons who may be: isolated, unwell, disabled and vulnerable individuals with learning difficulties, culture, religion or social background to broaden their horizons and give them the opportunity to become more active including access to learning, education, training or social activities including attending their local church or place of worship, to help them improve their quality of life and help to eradicate isolation.

Including persons who may have terminal illnesses who want to enjoy what time they have left.

We want to increase the number of people we carry to be able to help as many disabled persons as possible from across areas in South West of England with special emphasis all areas in and surrounding Bristol with a marked increase in South & North Bristol, Somerset, North Somerset, Bath & North East Somerset, South Gloucestershire, Gloucestershire, Oxfordshire and Wiltshire.

Our aims are to provide a financially, as well as physically accessible service to individuals who become members and want to get out & about, and doing things they otherwise would not do because of transport issues.

We want to help to eradicate isolation for individuals who otherwise would just stay where they live and not go out or do anything which in turn would contribute to improve their health and wellbeing.
